When the temperature rises, we all crave a refreshing drink that gives us energy. For coffee lovers, there’s no better choice than an Iced Latte: smooth, creamy, and cooling. But how do you make one at home that tastes just as good as in your favorite café?

In this blog, we’ll show you step by step how to prepare the perfect Iced Latte – inspired by the guidelines of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) and tips from us of course:).

What is an Iced Latte?

An Iced Latte consists of three simple ingredients:

  • Espresso: the base with a rich, intense flavor.

  • Milk: adds creaminess and balance.

  • Ice cubes: make it cool and refreshing.

The secret to a good Iced Latte lies in the quality of the coffee and the right proportions.


Recipe: Iced Latte in 3 Easy Steps

Based on the brewing principles of the Specialty Coffee Association.


Ingredients:

  • 1 double espresso (Solberg&Hansen Summer espresso recommended 😉)

  • 200 ml cold milk (dairy or plant-based of your choice)

  • A handful of ice cubes


Preparation:

  1. Brew the espressoUse your favorite BAM Coffee blend. For an Iced Latte, we recommend a fruity filter coffee or a smooth, balanced espresso.

  2. Fill the glassPlace the ice cubes in a tall glass and pour the espresso over them.

  3. Add the milkSlowly pour the cold milk into the glass. Stir gently and your Iced Latte is ready.

Variations to Try:


  • Vanilla Iced Latte: add a splash of vanilla syrup.
